Dr. Aaron Bent - Vice President of Marketing & Business Development

As Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, Dr. Bent is responsible for all aspects of the company's product marketing, marketing communications and strategic relationships with its major customers, suppliers, and partners.

As co-founder of Continuum Photonics, Dr. Bent was President and Chief Operating Officer for the company for a period of four years. In prior positions, he has been responsible for managing over $15M in funds for technology & product development, and as program manager for numerous DARPA, Army Research Office, Office of Naval Research, and AFOSR programs. Dr. Bent is the recipient of the National Science and Engineering Research Council Award in Canada, the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers Gold Award and the Governor General's Medal of Canada. He holds a PhD and MS from MIT in the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
